Intertech provides an opportunity and is honored.
In the summer of 2007, Intertech Construction Corp was privileged enough to provide an internship to Jeremy Schwartz, a 15 year old Fort Lauderdale resident.
During that summer, Mr. Schwartz was shown the various stages of commercial construction. He was a quick study and become an almost immediate productive member for the various teams he rotated through.
At the end of the summer it was bitter sweet when Mr. Schwartz left to continue his education. However during the course of the year, Mr. Schwartz stayed in contact with Intertech’s President, Joseph Stadlen. So when the time came when Mr. Schwartz determined his Eagle Scout project of repairing damaged disposal structures at Flamingo Gardens in Pembroke Pines, FL – Mr. Schwartz used his connections, ingenuity and recently developed job skills and called upon Intertech. Intertech gladly donated material and skilled carpentry supervision for the project.
On Sunday May 18th 2008, Jeremy Schwartz was bestowed the highest honor by the Boy Scouts of America with the Eagle Scout distinction. During the ceremony Jeremy Schwartz recognized Joseph Stadlen with the Eagle Mentor Pin.
Mr. Stadlen commented “Admittedly it’s conceited to think either Intertech or I played a role in Jeremy’s development. Truth is Jeremy is a dynamic person that will achieve a great many things in his life – we are privileged simply to take part.”
In addition to Intertech’s mantra of providing Quality commercial construction, on time and within budget – Intertech is participating member of the community for which it owes its gratitude for 28 years of success.
